You have been hurting lately with your new teeth coming in and you had a bit of the stomach bug. We needed lots of cuddles and medicine to get you back to yourself. You didn't want to sleep much and were generally grouchy. Thankfully, things seem to be getting much better. I am happy to have my happy girl back. Everyone says how you do everything with a smile and with such joy and it is true!
Here are a few things you have been learning...
Milestones:
- Feeds doll- and rocks any doll or stuffed animal you can get your hands on
- Takes off own clothes- not yet
- Dumps an object in imitation- anything or anything
- Learns words at a rate of ten or more a day- oh yes, too many to count
- Can walk up stairs- and down
- May start exploring genitals- oh yes, fun.
- Draws a straight line- I think so?
- Names several body parts- head, lips, ears, nose, eyes
You are too funny! You made up your own theme song and sing it all day long. You also love singing "Look Down" and other songs from Les Mis. You sing one part and want me to sing the rest and we go back and forth. So cute. When your teeth were hurting, we would hear you in your bed yelling "dancing! dancing!" late into the night. It is usually the first thing you say to me in the morning too. I love our special time together when Addi is at school. .You are my precious Bella Bean! Love, Mommy
