Happy 8 Month Birthday, Addi Grace! Addi celebrated by crawling the best she ever has on Christmas Day. We all had so much fun watching her open presents, eat at the table and crawl around my parent's house. We made the trip to PA a week before and spent lots of time catching up with family and friends. I didn't realize how big Addi really is until we went to lunch with one of my best friends and her 15 month old daughter. The girls had so much fun and were the exact same size, Addi was even taller! People thought they were the same age. I can't believe how much she has grown, this month especially.
This month's milestones include: Saying "Mama" and "Dada" and passing objects from hand to hand and Addi does both. She is advanced waving "hello" and "goodbye", crawling and banging toys together. She also stands while holding something and jabbers.
Addi loves to talk. She talks to us but loves to talk to strangers the most. She will stare at people while we are out until they notice her and smile. She'll smile back and laugh. Then she'll talk. She did this the morning we had breakfast with her little girlfriend. She loved her so much she was yelling at her and trying to get in the highchair with her! She was also flirting with the little boy behind her. Goodness, this little girl is going to keep me on my toes!
We were so blessed to spend Christmas with my family and New Years with my husband's family. I love watching Addi interact with the people she loves and who love her very much. We are all looking forward to what 2011 has in store...
