5 Months...

My baby girl is 5 months old! Yay! It has been a very fun but challenging month. We were getting into the routine of me going to work, more of an adjustment for me than her! She also became a little more fussy than she ever was before and wasn't as sleeping as well. Now, this is no way near what parents with colicky babies experience. She just wasn't herself and I thought it was the teething. It could have been separation anxiety or the teething but it makes even more sense with the Similac recall!

What was in my food?!
I don't have the words to say how upset I am about it. I already don't like giving her formula and this happens. At least a week and a half of her formula was effected and we aren't sure about the rest. Almost immediately when we switched the formula she was back to herself! She slept almost 12 hours last night and isn't fussy at all when before she was fussy more often and lethargic. She also had diarrhea yesterday. Ugh. SO frustrating but I am happy its over. I just want my girl to be happy and healthy! She hasn't let this get her down, she is still growing and learning!
I chew everything.
Yet again, Addi has met and exceeded all of her milestones this month including playing with her hands and feet (most babies can do), recognizing her name, turns towards new sounds, rolls over in both directions (1/2 babies can do), mouths objects and sits momentarily by herself (only a few babies can do). I never get tired of watching her grow and learn! I am just in love with this little girl and my family. Her laughs and smiles make everything worth it and I would do anything for her.

I LOVE watching her relationship with our dog, Baby Roo blossom! They are adorable together. They were sitting nicely on the couch together and Addi reached over and bit Roo. Yes, ,my baby bit my dog. Both are okay. They love each other and it is adorable! When Addi is on the floor or in her Johnny Jump-Up she reaches for Roo as she walks by and pets her nicely. Roo takes it all in stride, even when Addi puts her hand in her mouth or pulls her ear. Roo gets so excited to see Addi every morning and still frequents her nursery. I love my girls! I better go spend time with them and my wonderful hubby...
